As every year, this year the Inter – Orthodox Divine Liturgy was organized and took place at the Church of the Archangels Brussels led by His Eminence Metropolitan Panteleimon of Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Representatives of the Patriarchate of Russia, Romania, Serbia, Georgia and the Autocephalous Church of Cyprus participated the Divine Liturgy. The Church of Cyprus was represented by His Eminence Bishop Porphyrios of Neapolis, Director of the Office of the Church of Cyprus to the European Institutions. The Ambassador of Greece to Belgium, representative of the Cypriot Embassy in Belgium, and military military attachés of various military bodies established in Belgium.
Lots of people attended the liturgy in which choirs chanted in several languages: Greek, Flemish, Russian, and Romanian. Divine word was pronounced by Fr. Constantine Kenanidis. The Divine Liturgy was followed by doxology for the national day of the Greek Revolution of 1821. The ambassador of Greece to Belgium, Mr. Alexios Platon Hadjimichalis delivered the panegyric of the day. A reception followed at the archontariki of the cathedral for official guests and people, who attented the holy liturgy.
