His Grace Bishop Porfyrios of Neapolis met with Baroness J. Anelay, minister for Human Rights on 30 June 2016 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of United Kingdom. His Grace informed Baroness Analey for the ongoing violation of freedom of religious of the Greek-Cypriots at the occupied part of the Republic of Cyprus by the Turkish troops. In addition it was discussed the persecution of Christians by fanatic Muslims in Middle East.
On the 1st July 2016 His Grace met with the High Commissioner of Cyprus in United Kingdom Mr. E. Evriviades with whom they discussed the consequences of Brexit, issues of violation of religious freedom in the occupied part of the Republic of Cyprus by the Turks as well as issues of the Cypriot Community in London.
During the afternoon of the same day His Grace met with His Eminence Archbishop of Great Britain Grigorios at the premises of the holy Archbishopric. With the blessing of His Eminence, His Grace presided the vesper (31 June) and the holy liturgy (1 July) of the feast of the parish of Saint Anargyroi at NW London
